Directors/Office administrators

Our administrative staff combine years of education and experience with a passion to provide the best in Early Childhood practices.  Our open door policy creates an easily accessible environment for questions and concerns.

Executive Director

Cyndi McCormick

Cyndi McCormick’s love for education came from her father, who was a high school math teacher and coach.  She pursued an elementary education degree at Purdue University and added her Early Childhood Education units at Orange Coast College.  She began teaching preschoolers in 1994 at Aldersgate Children’s Center in Tustin where she worked with 2’s, 3’s, kindergarteners and the after school program.  She became Director of Child’s World Preschool in 2001.  Her love of nature is showcased throughout the program and she is most proud of the transformation of our outdoor classroom.

She spends her spare time catching up on the lives of her 4 sons, Matthew, Eric, Alex and Anthony.  She and her husband, Michael, enjoy spending time outdoors, traveling, hiking, snowboarding and giving back at their church.  She is looking forward to grandchildren in the future, hopefully some girls!

Director of operations

Kelly Elsenheimer

Kelly has known since she was in 4th grade that she wanted to be a teacher.  She started working at a Christian Elementary School summer day camp right after she graduated from High School.  She knew right then, that was her calling.  She taught our TK class here at Child’s World Preschool for 8 years, before making the move into Administration in 2016.

She is a mother of 4 children, 2 boys and 2 girls and has 2 grandchildren.  Kelly and her husband love traveling and enjoy spending time on their boat in the summer.

TEACHERS

Our teachers are the backbone of our program.  Our staff have multiple years of education and experience in Early Childhood Education and continue to grow in knowledge through continuing educational and professional development opportunities.  Teachers meet on weekly basis to continually improve our program.  Teachers are trained to assess their students and provide both goal oriented and developmental assessment conferences with parents 3 times a year.
